At Fuddee, we aim to provide a seamless ordering experience while ensuring fairness to our Restaurant and Delivery Partners. This policy outlines the terms under which orders placed on our Platform may be cancelled.

Fuddee is owned and operated by M/s Spotsies Soul Foods LLP (LLPIN: ACS-2560).


1. Cancellation by the Customer

  • Before Preparation: You may cancel your order within a very limited window (typically 60 seconds) after placing it, or until the restaurant has "Accepted" the order. If cancelled during this window, you are eligible for a full refund.

  • After Preparation Starts: Once the order status changes to “Accepted,” “Processing,” or “Preparing,” cancellation is generally not permitted.

  • Cancellation Fees: If you request a cancellation after the restaurant has started preparing the food, Fuddee reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the order value to compensate the restaurant for the ingredients and labor used.

2. Cancellation by the Restaurant Partner

A restaurant may cancel an order due to:

  • Unavailability of specific food items or ingredients.

  • Sudden operational issues (e.g., equipment failure or power outage).

  • The restaurant being overwhelmed by high order volume.

Resolution: If a restaurant cancels your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method or Fuddee wallet.

3. Cancellation by Fuddee

We reserve the right to cancel an order under exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Logistics Issues: Inability to assign a Delivery Partner due to extreme weather or peak demand.

  • Security: Suspected fraudulent activity or unauthorized use of the Platform.

  • Technical Errors: Pricing glitches or system failures that result in incorrect order details.

Resolution: In these cases, Fuddee will notify you immediately and process a full refund.

4. No Cancellation After Dispatch

Once the order status is marked as “Out for Delivery” or has been picked up by the Delivery Partner:

  • Cancellation is strictly prohibited.

  • If you refuse to accept the order at the door, it will be treated as a "Failed Delivery," and no refund will be issued.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Cancellation and refund requests will be rejected if:

  • The delivery address provided was incorrect.

  • The customer was unreachable by the Delivery Partner via phone or chat.

  • The customer was not present at the delivery location to collect the order.

6. Refund Timelines for Cancelled Orders

For orders eligible for a refund following a successful cancellation:

  • Fuddee Wallet: Credits are usually reflected within 24 hours.

  • Online Payments (UPI, Cards, Net Banking): Refunds typically take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.

7. Policy Modifications

Fuddee reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
